Cola Pork
Ingredients:

1 kg pork shoulder or pork neck

2 tbsp oil

2 large onions, roughly chopped

3 garlic cloves, chopped

1 can (330 ml) cola

200 ml BBQ sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp paprika powder
-
1 tsp mustard powder

Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:

Cut the pork shoulder or neck into large chunks and season with salt and pepper.

Prepare all ingredients and preheat your cast iron pot on the stove.
2. Sear the meat:

Heat oil in the cast iron pot over medium-high heat.

Brown the meat on all sides until golden. Remove and set aside.
3. Prepare the aromatics:

In the same pot, sauté the onions until lightly browned, about 5–7 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Make the sauce:

Add cola, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, paprika powder, and mustard powder. Stir well.

Return the seared meat to the pot.

Reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer for 2–3 hours until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.
